Overall the feed back I received from the colleagues that attended the course was very positive, the only negative thing was that there was nowhere for our colleague's to have a break at the venue, yes there was a vending machine and toilet's but no where to sit with a coffee etc.:

I didn't receive the email to say that the venue had changed to another hotel and sat for 30 minutes in the wrong venue! Was then late for the start of the course. The venue chosen was poor, the Leonardo was run down, comms didn't work properly and the room was ok, but not very friendly - 2 days in a room with no windows isn't great. The trainer was a nice guy, he was honest but one of my biggest gripes is when a course is taught from powerpoint and the words we are reading is what the trainer is reading. Basically there was far too much reading off the screen - I wanted to know more, it was discussed between other attendees as well. Too much of his life story and his stories, rather than the attendees stories - he was keen to cut in and share his life. At one point he discussed his previous earnings and while using it as an example it wasn't appropriate, especially given there were people attending the course who were earning little. I thought the content was perfect for me, it gave me as a new comer to the subject a lot of insight and so no complaints there.

I have been provided feedback by the delegates that attended and they have praised both the course and the trainer. The trainer was clear, professional and easy to understand, He presented things in a clear manner and checked understanding before moving on. The pace of the day was ideal and everyone felt they had plenty of time to follow the trainer.

The Trainer, Denis Read was excellent and kept the course interesting throughout.

Very informative course, delivered well, teaching materials such as Videos and booklets contained good and relevant information for my area of practice which is Health and Social Care environment(HR) department. Disappointed that there was no lunch provided.

A very in depth course content and very heavy going in places, very much let down by the poor communication from Green cross training who failed to notify every participant that lunch was NOT provided. as much of the course content revolves around looking after ones own well being the decision not to provide any lunch at all and restricting free access to one hot drink was incredibly short sighted on behalf of the green cross. whilst I realise cost is a factor by both not providing any lunch and choosing a venue where food and drinks were daylight robbery to purchase was very annoying to all particpants. course content and delivery 10/10 organisation and logistics 0/10 this was a shame as the course message and content was great . I would highly recommend the course to others but to avoid Green cross as a training provider at all costsResponse : Paul, Thankyou for your feedback, at GCT we are always striving to improve. We are pleased that you enjoyed the content and the trainer but are saddened to hear that you felt our communication and management of the course was poor. We communicate to all our delegates via joining instructions that state no food is provided and we select the venue, close to a cafe and a pub for refreshments. Many thanks

The course was much more interesting and entertaining than I thought it would be. Leila was very knowledgeable and good at putting the material across, and I liked the practical exercises. It would be useful to have more "what would you do if" type scenarios and questions, and more anti-patterns - what definitely not to do. It would be useful to have a few more videos to de-sensitise you from the blood and guts aspect of being a first attender. Perhaps some professional actors on video simulating symptoms would be good.

I felt that Mick was able to provide 'real-life' anecdotes against the course content which helped cement the training in my mind.
