This was a really comprehensive and engaging course covering all the important basics of good communication; an awareness of the impact of NVC alongside use of active listening skills. Whilst there was some bias in the PPT towards challenging conversations and effective communication within teams and organisational structures, Pauline's great skill was in adapting 'on the go' to the questions and concerns raised by those of us whose conversations were more patient-focused. Some of the PPT slides repeated the key learning from slightly different perspectives - this was interesting though for me added to the quantity of information being delivered. I really valued Pauline's attentiveness to the group, particularly the priority she gave to encouraging a participative approach, and her ability to model the skills being communicated. I offered feedback on the day that time given to working through some of the 'real life' challenges and concerns - that were shared quite naturally because of Pauline's easy, conversational style of teaching - would have added value for me, though I totally appreciate that time was short on this half-day of training.

Good course with a lot of content. As always ran out of time a bit at the end but with Pauline sending us the presentation that will be a big help. Really enjoyed this useful topic and being able to hear other colleagues.

Good session and trainer handled the technical disruptions well. Would have been nice to have her in person due to such a big group of people attending. She was very cheerful and explained things well
