The course was very useful, informative and engaging. Ben made the course enjoyable and easy to understand, yet challenging us to apply critical thinking.

It was good to recap the previous sessions and practice safe holds. It was good to see and practice safe cannulation and treatment with children. Thank You

Excellent refresher. Trainer was responsive to adapting training to address incidents raised as part of feedback on occurrences over the last 12 months
Response : Hello Andrew, That’s great to hear! It sounds like Ben was highly adaptable and responsive, ensuring the refresher was tailored to real-ward incidents and practical needs. I hope that this means the training was relevant and effective. I’ll be sure to pass along this positive feedback!

The course gave a great insight into de escalation. Knowing what the patient like and favourite thing to do will initiate the trust and connection with the patient. Very engaging. Trainer name: Kirstie Reynolds

Kirstie is a lovely teacher and is a credit to Sherwood! A very engaging and interesting session which will be very useful to take back to a busy admitting surgical unit. My first experience in breakaway techniques which I feel will be very valuable within my ward. Thank you! Looking forward to Day 3! ✨

Thank you so much Kirstie- today has been very insightful and valuable. This training will have a significant impact on my practice as a nurse in ED, it will help to feel more confident in difficult situations at work and out of work too! The real life examples from Kirstie were helpful to put things into perspective and context. Thank you, if only all staff in ED could have this training it would make a huge difference to staff morale, and confidence
