Kirstie provided an excellent refresher training course covering all the important teaching points and answering all of our questions. I found the conversations with others about the different settings we work in really interesting and helpful. It was useful to discuss some of the different activities we might use in training to illustrate the issues children we work with may face. Overall a great course. Thank you!
The course is really beneficial and I have taken away some key points when delivering the practical. Kirstie gave some good suggestions for tasks on refreshers and for Day 1 activities. Personally I would like to do more than a one day refresher as I think going over the theory more would be beneficial. I am confident in delivering practical aspects of the course. I would just like to go over more of the theory to be able to ensure that I am delivering it in the best way I can. I also spoke to Kirstie on the day about this.
