AI summary of reviews

Consistently knowledgeable, patient and engaging trainers are the provider’s clearest strength, making complex theory accessible through humour, real-life examples, discussion and hands-on practice. Attendees value the safe, supportive atmosphere, clear explanations, thoughtful adaptations and opportunities to ask questions and repeat techniques until confident. Courses are generally well structured and paced, with useful breaks, and learning transfers directly to workplace practice and everyday situations; a few attendees find some sessions longer or more repetitive than necessary.

I learnt new thing especially when it comes to restraining, the techniques compare to my former training on restraining. I love the theory aspect also, I learn more about de-escalating techniques and I really appreciate the trainer, the patience, he really took his time and I really learnt a lot from it.

Liam made it a very fun abe interactive course. I appreciate that the tactics prioritise not harming service users. Liam ensured that we were confident in what we were doing and was very patient with us.

Liam showed passion and dedication to the subject of training. He made learning more engaging and made me feel more motivated. The course itself was informative and delivered brilliantly. The practical breakaway training was demanding but necessary. I learnt a lot on the course.

The course was very engaging and informative. Loved how we progressed from primary strategies all through to tertiary strategies. It really enforced positive behaviour from the start is the number one way to prevent adverse situations occurring I particularly enjoyed learning about recognising setting events, functions of behaviour (EATS) - in that there is never a point we can say a behaviour is irrational - and the secondary strategies STEPS to always stay safe and give the people we support what they need to descalate The tertiary strategies were new to me but it showed me how to safely get out of adverse situations without anyone getting hurt Liam is an amazing trainer. He knows his stuff well and he’s very fun and engaging. Only issue was some slides were on the PowerPoint and not in the book
