Very well presented - great interaction and engaging
Whilst I was not looking forward to the training, I actually really enjoyed it and felt I learnt a great deal. Jack was an engaging and credible teacher who utilised his own experience well to demonstrate key aspects and also make the day varied and interesting. His relaxed approach to the day ensured we learnt what was needed whilst still feeling encouraged to participate and strengthen our own learning. It was clear that Jack knows a great deal about this topic, and feels passionate about what he is teaching which adds even more credibility to his delivery of this course.

Because of how the course was delivered I found it easy to concentrate & retain the information given. Concentration is something I would normally struggle with. Alan used a lot of humour to help when needed, as well as keeping it very professional and informative. Thank you.
John was really great at communicating. Giving real-life, appropriate examples, highlighting repeatedly the importance of using a hold as a last resort. I felt supported and safe with a tricky topic, which has important consequences. Even though I am not directly providing care, I still want to understand the theory and practical element of de-escalation and how to best support young people who are struggling to communicate and are in a vulnerable state. The training was excellent, as was John.
