It has been useful to remind myself of why people get angry I think I can take some of the ideas into work - for example using a hook to distract Some of the ideas of take extra time don’t always work in A&E Not sure it can be used when there is 12 angry people asking the same thing however looking at why they are angry there maybe something I can do to begin to deescalate something Trainer Ben was engaging and I will be back for day 2

I really enjoyed the course, this consolidated my learning around positive behavioural support. Ben is a great trainer and I feel well equipped if I ever have to use restraint in my role.

Ben was very engaging and did not make the day boring. He was able to make the theory relatable and easy to understand through personal and real life stories. Made you feel confident to be able to put these techniques into practise if we ever need to safely.Response : Hi Lauren. Thank you for taking the time to leave detailed feedback. It is certainly great to hear the training was not boring! Although we hope do not have to use the physical intervention techniques, we strive to ensure feel staff feel confident if they do so it is great to read that you left the course feeling confident. We look forward to seeing you at a refresher course next year.
