Ben was incredible. His knowledge of the course was 2nd to none. It felt like we were the first group he had ever trained with the energy and enthusiasm he gave from start to finish. He gave perfect examples of how to use de escalation and holds where necessary. Would absolutely recommend to anyone who knows next to nothing or has over 50 years experience in this field. He is a credit to the company and the young people he will help indirectly through his work. Give the man a raise!

Ben was brilliant over the past three days. He really took the time to explain theory with case studies, allowing the team to think about different approaches that would help to support children. I learnt a lot from this experience, such as co spidering perception or perspective, but also the importance of slowing down and seeing the bigger picture. The practical side was very useful, explained really well and was not rushed. Thank you!

I’ve done Sheerwood around 4 times now and this weeks been the best I’ve ever experienced. Ben really went into depth around behaviours of concern and the communication behind this. I’ve never had a trainer give resistance during the interventions but honestly by doing this it felt real and showed us all that actually all these techniques do work - I feel this should be a standard across all trainers. He’s been approachable, listened and just overall a good educator and person. Thank you!

I have found the course very informative, engaging and very relatable. Ben has been an amazing trainer and kept it engaging throughout. I feel like I have learnt more on this training than any previous training within this line of work.
