Great Course and gained a lot of great knowledge to take forward!
Labs were very beneficial in learning the material
With the understanding that this is an accelerated course I felt that there were portions of the course that I struggled learning in this short time frame even though I've been in the IT industry for over 18 years. I would recommend this course to anyone who has a good working knowledge of IT, but would tell anyone new to IT that this course may be very difficult to learn in the time period of the course.
The homework each night took about 4-5 hours as opposed to the suggested 2 hours. Some days I was just wanting class to end so I could get a head start on the homework. I enjoyed the labs but it was always a challenge arranging my time when some labs took way longer than others, then there would still be an hour and a half of videos to watch. Often I would have to wake up early or go to sleep late to complete everything assigned on the syllabus, then being sleep-deprived I'd have trouble the next day attaining anything new.
The class was small and I had a great instructor but I felt overwhelm for a couple reasons. My wrist has Carpel Tunnel and my Back was extremely bothered even when I'm using coping equipment. It's not the class fault but didn't know this level of class would be so painful .
Homework was difficult for me..I talked with the director..unfortunately these past 2 weeks..I have had a HVAC issue at my house since the saturday BEFORE this course started...85-90 degree daily in the house...I cannot think straight..yes..it has affected everything.
Could have used more materials provided to give more in depth training.
i want to take this course over very soon. highly disappointed and i am not paying for this neither is the VA
Course materials were adequate, but instructor failed to actually teach us anything other than reading power point slides word for word to us.
