it is difficult to cover this much material in five days
The course content and materials were fine, but it seemed like exam practice questions were out of sync with what was covered in the class. Some of the questions felt more designed to trick the student than to assess knowledge on compTIA's side. I get it, but it seems more like a gate keeping ego inflation rather than anything practical.
I really enjoyed the class. A lot of great information too. The breakouts were mostly good, with a couple hard to discuss with the group just because of varied experience levels and job roles.
This was an excellent course on securing and auditing active directory domains. I appreciate that it provided adequate coverage of Active Directory as a technical tool, but also emphasized best practices and auditing techniques and approaches. Labs provided step-by-step guides and scripts to obtain useful real-world audit evidence. The instructor, Alan, was knowledgeable of, both, the technical aspects of Active Directory and how to audit. I especially appreciate how he provided what he felt were the most important areas to look at (best bang for the buck!) and he was extremely personable and friendly throughout the training.
I learned more from a 4 hour video then the 2 weeks i spent in class
I think the course time allotted is a great foundation to know where to begin to study for the certifications.
It's a good course, a lot of information covered in a short period of time. I think with all the resources, materials and study guides are going to be helpful with my success passing the course.
