Great class. The additional tools (CML/CML practice TestOut LabSim) were very helpful in furthering the knowledge and giving real world scenarios to make the class as realistic as possible given the virtual setting.
The course was full of great information and Ty, our instructor, made it very understandable. A LOT of data but good stuff.
Time is the only issue I had but it could just be a personal issue with me because I've always used a rule of five when study a subject, go over the subject matter five times to have a greater grasp of what I am studying. I'm only able to go over the course material two to three times and feel somewhat confident when testing but I'm passing the course so like I said it could just be me and the way I'm use to learning.
It was definitely a course to take if you wanted to delved into the IT security infrastructure. I wish I have more time each day to follow up and study the materials given because there were lots of materials and felt that two weeks is not enough to really cover them all. Maybe they could stretched it to three weeks giving more days to the more complex Security protocols for students to really grasp the concept. Anyway, I have lots of self studying to do before taking the cert exam.
