The inability to get the "Practice Labs" to work correctly was extremely frustrating. To be honest, I gave up. Instead, I downloaded the transcripts to each lab so that even though I couldn't complete or practice the tasks in a real environment, I could at least review what was necessary to complete each assignment.
Content was very dry and dull, going over definitions and slides for hours at a time, makes it difficult to pay attention and absorb what the instructor is saying. I feel ITIL would be better suited at the end of the COMPTIA courses so those us with little IT Experience can better understand and put into perspective what exactly the instructor is talking about.
Even though it was a five day course, which made it really fast paced, the instructor made it manageable and fun. The material was diverse enough which allowed students to use different methods to learn and retain information. Also the instructors teaching method.
Overall, it was a good course that covered the basis and value for using risk assessment to develop audit program.
I would have given 5 stars but a few example slides were were PY. This was made more obvious perhaps because they did not include pandemic or WFH related data.
I enjoyed attending the 3-day course. I got a lot out of it that I could apply to my job. The course materials are relevant and the supporting graphics and presentation further enhanced the course contents.
Linh brought lots of her experience and knowledge to this course for us to enhance the knowledge. She also modified the course to cater to our own needs
Really helpful and informative. Given all of the participants do not have experiences in the new technology, it may be good to stop at the earlier stage to fully discuss the topics that are new to the participants.
The instructor was excellent! Very thorough and understanding. The only thing I would change is to make the course one week longer. Two weeks was just the right amount of time to get a working grasp of the knowledge. However, I think one more week for practice and review would help for the certification exam.
