This was a really enjoyable course. I feel it has provided me with a solid overview of the various mental health issues a person could suffer from. It has provided me with a clear strategy to ensure that I could try and get that person to more professional and qualified people to ensure that they get the help that they need. The ALGEE acronym means the steps to follow will be easy to recall. I felt the breakout rooms really helped to provide an example that many people were able to contribute to - it was good to feedback off others. I would recommend this course to others.
I felt that event though the course was virtual, the balance of online modules, discussions and case studies work was good. I learned a lot and appreciate how hard it can be to get people to engage on Teams! The breakout room activities worked really well for breaking the ice and encouraging discussion. Thank you!
I found this course to be very beneficial. I have gained a really good insight into mental health first aid and most definitely feel I am better prepared when faced with those situations. The instructor Andrew was very knowledgeable and explained everything in a great way that was easy to understand. Many thanks
