Practical scenario work and repeated use of the ALGEE framework help attendees translate mental health first-aid principles into calm, supportive action. They value knowledgeable, empathetic trainers who create safe, inclusive discussions, maintain a clear pace and encourage learning from peers. The blended modules, videos, handbook and breakout exercises build understanding and confidence that transfers to work and personal situations, although some find the online manual awkward to navigate.

Response: Thank you Paula, I really appreciate your lovely feedback. There's so much to cover and I really want you all to get best value from the course. Thank you for being so open and engaging with all the topics. Now have an easy afternoon! Big thanks Carol

I thought that there was an awful lot of material to cover and absorb and with that in mind feel that the course would have benefitted with being a bit longer. ( 2 whole days ). Carol did extremely well to discuss such sensitive topics . She was both approachable and informative and the discussion and exercises were very helpful. The fact that it was interactive enabled us to learn from each other too. I think that this course is extremely useful in todays climate where so many are dealing with poor mental health. Having someone to support and assist you in the workplace is invaluable .

Response: Hi Joanne, Many thanks for your feedback. I agree we do cover a significant amount of material in the time we have for sessions. I'm glad that you felt that the discussions with other people on the course were useful. We did have a pretty special group I have to say. You will all be assets to your companies that's for sure. Big thanks, Carol

Great instructors and course.

Rob and Nicola delivered the course extremely well, the opportunity to discuss topics, go in to break-out rooms, and repeat the ALGEE worksheet was invaluable. The course was delivered in a professional but friendly way. There was a sense of closeness due to the small number of the people on the course, which was valuable in my opinion, as we all got to know each other on a more personal level. Rob and Nicola constantly gave praise to the group for their contributions to group discussions. Having the handbook in digital form was a nice touch alongside the individual training that was completed beforehand online.

I thought the course was very informative. Although I found the first Webinar interesting, I found that I enjoyed the second Webinar a lot more as I found the psychosis section very interesting as I see that a lot on my caseload.
