John Crockett was an excellent instructor who made us all feel at ease considering the content dealt with, and conveyed it in an direct and caring manner. Felt more equipped to deal with situations that could arise after completing this course.

The course was very informative and provided information in a way that was easy to follow. The instructors explained the content of the course well and at a good pace and has provided me with the confidence to help if someone was having a mental health crisis.

Jane was really lovely and friendly. She was very engaging and made you feel comfortable and at ease in the classroom, especially when talking about topics which can be sensitive. The content was very interesting and very informative, and I feel better equipped to help someone who may be experiencing mental distress. I highly recommend the course and thoroughly enjoyed it.

My son had a major mental health episode last summer and I so wish I had done this training earlier, so I could have been more effective and proactive. Now I'm so much more aware of some of the symptoms of many mental illnesses or conditions and feel much more equipped to support someone who's experiencing mental health difficulties. Thank you, MHFAW and Ellender Wildey for a really good course!

The course and both of the tutors exceeded my expectations. I felt the course provided much more In depth information than I expected eg delusions and psychosis. The tutors were knowledge on all of the course content. Providing support and making them selves available. I was unable to join on the first session through the platform…..I’m not sure how but the tutors managed to include me through Teams …. I really have no idea how but this proved a high level of digital support offered ….. way above what’s normally expected I’m sure….. and with great patience and tolerance of my poor digital skills
