Practical scenario work and repeated use of the ALGEE framework help attendees translate mental health first-aid principles into calm, supportive action. They value knowledgeable, empathetic trainers who create safe, inclusive discussions, maintain a clear pace and encourage learning from peers. The blended modules, videos, handbook and breakout exercises build understanding and confidence that transfers to work and personal situations, although some find the online manual awkward to navigate.

I felt that the online course was just repeated in the training by Sam. There was no need for the online training, or it could have been condensed.

I welcome the opportunity to give feedback for this course and for the two amazing facilitators. My background is in teaching counselling / psychology / personal development but I have been absent from the workplace for 3 years due to bereavement. I enrolled on this course as I not only wanted the highly praised Certificate In MHFA in order to help/assist individuals should the need arise, but I also felt I needed to refresh myself with current methods / policies regarding Mental Health & wellbeing and I am so very glad I did. This course ticked all the boxes for me in respect of the content, exercises, format etc and the facilitators were exemplary in their knowledge and professionalism. I cannot praise them highly enough. Diolch o galon.

A very good course, I'd done a similar one previously which I personally found quite distressing so wasn't looking forward to this. But the very serious subject matter was delivered this time in a manner that was informative and professional but without distress to the learner. Thank you.

I found the course to be really interesting, and the workshops to be really thoughtfully led. I definitely feel like I have the confidence to assist someone undergoing a mental health crisis, and understand the warning signs to look for.

I was really pleased with this course, I was a little apprehensive before the course as some of the topics were a little too close to home, however, Rachele was amazing, she lead the course really well and always with our mental health in mind.
