I found the course excellent. Becky and Lisa did a wonderful job. Plenty of interaction. Also lots of breakout rooms to discuss subjects as a group. I have learned so much and feel confident in MH First Aid, Well done Becky and Lisa!

Over all i enjoyed the course, and has given me a greater understanding on each of the topics, how to assess certain situations. I would highly recommend the course to others to complete, i will use the algee resource consistantaly.

A helpful course, especially the video clips to illustrate various points. The first session was very much a revision of the modules and the second session firmly implanted the use of ALGEE. I would have liked a bit more depth of the 4 Ls to train the brain to take a wider perspective. I also think that the triple A of ALGEE needs as much emphasis as the double E but I do find it very helpful to have an pneumonic especially in a crisis situation.

Attending this course today boosted my knowledge to understand how to support a person going through mental health issues, also learned different channels to seek support whenever encounter a situation where a person needs help. I have found a panel discussion engaging with lots of tips and ideas to share, this led me to the best results to gain more skills. exercises during this first aids course nourished my performance to understand how different scenarios could impact and trigger a person's behavior for them to act differently in society, I found it real although it was video, therefore in the future, I would have an idea on how to approach such person without any form of discrimination, judgment to support. The leader was not only patient and kind to listen to the audience but also answered all questions and explained clearly for us to achieve this training with great tips. All in all, we all go through mental when it comes to an issue, Nadege will remember (ALGEE ) to support us when needed. Thank you.

Thank you Hannah and Lauren, you are both so knowledgeable and answered questions with confidence, you included us all and made what can be a difficult topic, interesting and interactive. I would definitely recommend you both to deliver MHFA. Pleasure!

A very thought out course that helped me understand the role of a mental health first aider. The course promoted discussion of sensitive topics in a productive and compassionate manner and made talking about these topics very easy. The online materials were very useful and kept to key information, a small complaint is sometimes the online content was too brief on contextual information outside the MHFA action plan. The instructors were wonderful and the webinars really tied the whole module up together in a way that ensured people felt confident about what is needed from a mental health first aider.

David was lovely, encouraging and supportive, gave plenty of time for people to answer and listened to all. He made a challenging topic very accessible and calm. Would highly recommend him and he is an asset to MHFA.
