Before the course I didnt feel confident in approaching people but now ive completed the course I feel much more confident as I know the correct things to say

Interesting, with a balance of facts and discussion. It was great to receive a booklet to complete, which involves the participants and gives a better takeaway than making notes only.

Very informative course. I feel a lot more confident recognising signs that someone may be feeling suicidal and appropriate language to use. Also recognising the importance of first aiding the crisis rather than being responsible for solving all the problems or issues that person may be experiencing. Esther was very knowledgeable and the delivery was brilliant and encouraged group discussion and engagement

Really good at setting out the stakes of the crisis around suicidal behaviour, helpful ways of thinking and speaking about it, clear and practical approaches for meeting situations of this kind and ways to keep things in proportion when trying to deal with them.
