Fantastic training. Very focused on primary, secondary and tertiary non-restrictive responses, but also trained the breakaways and restraints very well.

Really interesting and learnt alot

Ben was absolutely amazing! This was my first time with this sort of training and he made it so enjoyable and easy to understand. The physical side of training was great he made sure I understood completely and helped with the correct posture and positions . I hope I have Ben again when I need a refresher course! He made the 3 days fly by and made learning fun! Thank you so much Ben!

A really informative and useful course. Really engaging trainer who taught and demonstrated really well. Lots of demonstrations which were really easy to follow. Lots of useful background information and opportunities to learn further. Felt it was a safe space to ask questions. Overall, an excellent learrning experience. Thanks Ben!

Absolutely brilliant course, Ben was so engaging and relatable, all through out the course he made sure I understood everything I would recommend that everyone in care takes this course as it's eye opening and helpful especially with learning new skills for working with children.

During my time in SEMH I have been on different deescalation and positive handling courses and this one is by far the most effective and most impactful course that I have attended. I love the fact that the course is built around the deescalation of behaviours and identifying ways to avoid restrictive practices rather than solely basing this on the holds as I’ve previously been taught. Ben is very knowledgeable and I have learnt so much including in depth knowledge on trauma, ASC and behaviour concerns. The importance of praise, redirection and communication to help these children grow as people rather then punishment is so refreshing. Every SEMH school needs to complete this course as it completly gives you a different set of skills that are so effective. I’m really looking forward to my refresher already!

I have really enjoyed learning about positive behaviour support this last three days! The material was interesting, insightful and very well explained by the trainer Ben. Ben was energetic, enthusiastic and passionate about the material which encouraged the whole group to get involved. I found the explanation about the psychology and reasoning behind behaviour extremely useful and the debates/conversation for each topic has been very educational! It has been a very positive experience and I feel I can walk away from the training confident in my knowledge and newly learned skills. Thank you Ben! :)
