This course has helped me massively to understand different behaviours and why these behaviours can happen, Ben has been brilliant in teaching us new techniques and also opened my eyes in how I can view challenging behaviours, thank you for a brilliant course!

The training overall was absolutely wonderful. It was much more in depth than any other PBS training i have ever attended. Ben's knowledge and experience is second to none. I am leaving today with more knowledge and more experience that i can use in my role to support the people we support. Ben is an absolute credit to Sherwood Training.

The course was designed very well to help me understand why behaviours may occur, and how to restrain safely , legally and effectively. And what to look for ( eg cues) The course was dissected for a reason. Thanks Ben

Excellent course with plenty of time for practicing skills taught and useful ways to remember these - especially like the emphasis on primary strategies that make us think about how we can reassess these for the specific challenges our Su’s have.-Also like the emphasis on duty of care to staff and the importance of debrief and using incident recording to change PBS plans with the whole team working with a SU - lots of ideas to take into practice
The corse was fun and interesting and really hooked people and got everyone engaging. Ben was great at his teaching and supported everyone in their different ways of learning. He was affective when passing on his knowledge and you could tell that he was passionate about his work and used his experiences in his previous jobs to help train us correctly and effectively. Overall this was a fun and enjoyable experience and I found it very interesting.
