RRN Level 3: Restrictive Physical Intervention reviews

4.9 (6,285 reviews)
AI summary of reviews

Practical, safety-focused learning is the course’s defining strength: attendees say it links clear theory on positive behaviour support, de-escalation, law, dignity and least-restrictive practice to step-by-step demonstrations, realistic scenarios and repeated practice. They value knowledgeable, patient and approachable trainers who use humour, lived experience and feedback to keep demanding subjects engaging, inclusive and easy to understand. The well-organised sessions build confidence that transfers directly to supporting children, patients and service users at work, although some find the theory lengthy.

The training was fantastically, professionally and systematically delivered by Bani. The training was really educative, impactful and expository. It provided me with needed knowledge to provide quality person centered support care service to our service users so as to promote their independence and quality of life. Adelaja Israel Adetayo

It was a very good 3 days with Mr Nyembani Handema. We learned a lot about positive behaviour Support and how to cope with challenging behaviours displayed by service users .Everything taught was very clear and we were all given a chance to participate throughout the course. Thank you very much. Geraldine Mutanda.

I really enjoyed the course and communication from the trainer. I felt that the trainer was engaging with the group really well and involving everyone in activities. I have had a laugh and learned much more completing this course. I will now start implementing charts for my individuals such as (setting events, cues and behaviour of concerns) de-escalation techniques and I will always remember that we use the least restrictive option.
