RRN Level 3: Restrictive Physical Intervention reviews

4.9 (6,184 reviews)
AI summary of reviews

Practical, safety-focused learning is the course’s defining strength: attendees say it links clear theory on positive behaviour support, de-escalation, law, dignity and least-restrictive practice to step-by-step demonstrations, realistic scenarios and repeated practice. They value knowledgeable, patient and approachable trainers who use humour, lived experience and feedback to keep demanding subjects engaging, inclusive and easy to understand. The well-organised sessions build confidence that transfers directly to supporting children, patients and service users at work, although some find the theory lengthy.

I really enjoyed the course and communication from the trainer. I felt that the trainer was engaging with the group really well and involving everyone in activities. I have had a laugh and learned much more completing this course. I will now start implementing charts for my individuals such as (setting events, cues and behaviour of concerns) de-escalation techniques and I will always remember that we use the least restrictive option.

The course was engaging and entertaining, the trainer kept the information concise and helpful while using comedy to keep the course interesting whilst also expressing the seriousness of the consequences of mistakes/malpractice, he was very helpful in explaining and demonstrating everything and I would love to come back next year
