A very informative course. The break-away techniques were really useful and have made me feel more protected within my role- god forbid that I should need to use them.

Focused a lot on mental health patients and not as much on aggressive relatives who we have to deal with frequently. Although really helpful for when we do have MH patients. Really good physical session ok second half with lots of useful techniques and great feedback.

Kirstie is a wonderful teacher. I was very worried about de-escalation in a tricky situation if the patient is holding me & the techniques have given me that bit of confidence to keep myself safe without harming patients.

Kirstie, presented a fantastic course, the day flowed was very informative. The course should help as we have had lots of instances of patients who have injured staff, and the breakaway techniques I wish I knew as soon as I joined the NHS.
