Engaging and fun trainer but tone right for subject. I work in a prison and can reflect on previous situations which escalated quickly and how I would handle the situation different. Definitely learned skills today which I will use in everyday practice

Ben was a brilliant trainer, very engaging and informative, helped it feel like a not so long day. The course itself was educational and helped give reasoning and insight in why we should be working the way we do. I found it was applicable to my role, even though I’m a ward clerk I still deal with a lot of challenging behaviours mainly from relatives, and it has helped me understand why they may act that way. Thank you, very interesting and informative

Class helped us to understand the different behaviour and how we can redirect the persons and how work can be more fun and not stressful. Thank you for the class

Ben was enthusiastic, engaging and used real life examples of putting the theory into practice. I appreciated that Ben had real world and very relevant experience in what he was teaching. The little bit about body language when someone gets on the bus was a bit long winded but then again it was just before lunch so I might have just been hungry and ready for a break. Overall it has made me evaluate my practice and even though these are skills that I think I already use the day helped me reflect and how to hone these skills.

I have really enjoyed the training course today. The trainer Ben was the best trainer I’ve ever in the 6 years I’ve worked for MFT. His teaching techniques had everyone involved and most importantly made me think about the why. Why do people behave certain ways, I will definitely be pausing and asking more questions going forward. In work and day to day life. Thanks Ben
