Really useful day helping prepare for embarking on this apprenticeship. It’s still daunting but I do feel the session was both useful and reassuring.
The room made it really difficult for the trainer to operate in the way they wanted to eg the venue could not facilitate that. Also, the room was really cold
Really enjoyed it but i think there needs to more emphasis on the group learning and more time allocated to this, maybe at the beginning too.
The workshop was interesting and Debra was a great presenter, who is clearly passionate about the topic. I sometimes couldn't relate the relevance back to the course and thought it was very much about working on one's self as opposed to managing and leading a team.
Very much enjoyed, neurodiversity is an incredibly wide, broad and interesting subject. I am at the beginning of my knowledge journey on this and look forward to furthering it.
Today's programme was brilliant, Hayley delivered a different programme to the previous ones, where Hayley invested more into discussions and why or how this works, along with some personal experiences or challenges she has faced , giving us an alternative outlook on EDI. Lisa also invested in discussions rather than too many slides which I thoroughly enjoyed, we did have the added advantage of being a small group, but this helped with listening to other cohorts opinions and theories surrounding EDI, where Lisa really encouraged interaction and enhanced on what we said, giving extra value to the context.
