Steve covered subjects well and was very informative.

The reason for this course was due to insistence by VF following an incident that was not actually the fault of Lynx-UK. It did show us a way to double the state of the equipment following work by a qualified electrician. It also showed that we need to order some new test equipment in order to check status of cabling.

Good, overall. Working through the book and modules was straightforward. There were some instances where the test question answers appeared as contrary to what the book was saying. T

The afternoon session on the ESMS procedures was to much information for the session, more time needs to allocated to this. The delay in taking (the following week) the exam does not help. But overall the course met the objectives.Response : Hi John Thanks for the feedback. As a result of the first set of training courses and the feedback we have received we have now split the course over two days. Part 1 covering H&S Legislation is covered in half a day on day 1 and the ESMS procedures on the following full 2nd day with the exam on the third day. This seems to work much better for the students and the trainer.

Open book exam great because it reflects what I would do in the real world, but questions often used specific terms exactly the same as in the ESMS documentation, which made it easy for people like me that know how to use the search tools.

I thought the course was overall good, its a dry uninteresting subject and as its based on the understanding and ability to find information from a plethora of documents its difficult to create an exam. I think perhaps as a way of checking subject matter awareness the questions may well confirm the student is able to read rather than they fully understand the processes described.
