did find this a little rushed but informative
The course was a good awareness of the documentation within the ESMS. The awareness of the documentation I would recommend that this be done within 2-3 months of joining AWE as the knowledge of these documents is very important. A practical course spread over a number of different types of isolation after this course would be of a benefit. Also knowing the documents is good but applying them would be another aspect that would be important to monitor. But overall really enjoyed the course and got a lot from it being a new employee.
I thought course was excellent my only tiny complaint was choice of sandwiches at break as all that was left got us was egg mayonnaise which both myself and my son hate.
I was originally booked onto a similar course the previous week, this was cancelled at 1730 the day before the course, none of the attendees was informed.
Response: Hi Gerry I'm sorry you were not informed of the cancellation. This was due to circumstances beyond our control. We did inform the training department at AWE at the earliest opportunity beyond that we don't have control over how or when you are informed of any changes.
During the three day course, all staff that I engaged with were welcoming and helpful, and the refreshments were always made sure to be stocked up. Couldn't recommend the training site enough to anyone looking to work within the electrical division.
Overall very good. Some topics not really relevant but cant help that. Could have spent more time on practising the theory.
My tutor Dorian Cole was very good. Affable and approachable guy who knew his subject well. Nice guy.
Course was good and provided the training I needed
Good course, helped me pass Level 3 as I needed this for new legislation. It helped that it was only two days long due to time off work and cost. The trainer was very good, conscious of everyone's requirements and helped as much as he could throughout. As I have been in the industry for over 22 years it helped as a refresher course.
Very well run course, Joga was excellent learnt a lot from him. very easy to understand and willing to help when students required, a very patient and knowledgeable instructor.
