Excellent place to learn. The trainers are very good and know what they are talking about. Learning technique is very good and guide you through what you need to do.

This course was very intensive and the first day there was a lot ( virtually the whole day ) theory, the on-line content we previously completed was included in the final exam. I think 3 days was not efficient, 4 days to 5 days would have been a lot better, therefore the theory could be broken up more, the online content could have been reviewed again within the course days and the practicals could have had more time spent on them.

Overall I thought the course was informative. Although very intense as the first day was all theory but after speaking with Steve Redpath I believe this will change on the next course so it is theory and practical split over the first 2 days. After completing the theory assessment on line I had aa score of 91% as I could not answer one of the questions due to the link not working. I presume this would have given me 93% pass rate. This being said then I must have got 2 or 3 questions wrong, after asking if I could be told what I had got wrong so that I can learn from it, I was told I was unable to find out due to possibly giving the answers away. I find this strange as we should be able to learn from what we have got wrong so that we do not make the mistakes in the real life situation.Response : Dear Aden. Thanks for your feedback. On the subject of the exam results I've checked your results and one of the questions you got wrong was related to the Ah of a battery string. Remember if a battery as a rating of 10Ah, for example , then the entire string has a rating of 10Ah. Therefore if you require 20Ah of battery back-up then in this example you would require two stings or 8 x 12v 10Ah batteries. In addition, remember the fuse or breaker rating (In) must be greater than or equal to the design current of the circuit (Ib). As regards not releasing answers to questions this is standard practice which City and Guilds and EAL also adopt with their on-line exams. I hope that is of help. Regards Steve

The training centre is superb the best one i have been to yet, all the staff are friendly and welcoming, the teachers are highly knowledgeable and clearly love what they do, it's a nice relaxed but professional environment to learn in. The course tutor Sam completely demystified testing and Inspection and why it is really a logical process of steps that follow on to the next step to identify faults brilliant course that will stand me in good stead for the level 3 2391.
