The course was suitable for our needs, gave us a good insight to the regulations around planning, design, and install of fire alarm systems.
The course was a good awareness of the documentation within the ESMS. The awareness of the documentation I would recommend that this be done within 2-3 months of joining AWE as the knowledge of these documents is very important. A practical course spread over a number of different types of isolation after this course would be of a benefit. Also knowing the documents is good but applying them would be another aspect that would be important to monitor. But overall really enjoyed the course and got a lot from it being a new employee.
Achieved all the module goals & knowledge in this 4 day course & Trainer was excellent with his training skills .
I thought course was excellent my only tiny complaint was choice of sandwiches at break as all that was left got us was egg mayonnaise which both myself and my son hate.
the test was timed when there is no need for it as the paper work needs to be filled in correctly, for the job to be done thy will be no time limit for doing the paper work, a lot of it was nothing to do with what we wont, the paper work is confusing witch then make the job even more Dangerous as people find it confusing, all so i don't believe that there is no chance of a second go at the test as we can right the paper work out again ?
Excellent course I learnt a lot, and the tutor was very knowledgeable and was always ready to help you, would definitely recommend this course
I was originally booked onto a similar course the previous week, this was cancelled at 1730 the day before the course, none of the attendees was informed.
Response: Hi Gerry I'm sorry you were not informed of the cancellation. This was due to circumstances beyond our control. We did inform the training department at AWE at the earliest opportunity beyond that we don't have control over how or when you are informed of any changes.
Great course and the instructor Avtar explained it very clearly.
Really enjoyed the course, Dorian is an asset to the PTT, extremally patience and helpful, nothing was too much trouble.
I didn't book the course so No Comment or stars either way. Overall comments Dorian was a great instructor, and led the course at a suitable pace for the whole class to maximise our experience & requirement for knowledge with which to pass the final exam. Plenty of coffee, little disappointed with lunch (quality good, just poor selection especially if you were at end of the queue for sandwiches) Overall very impressed & would like to revisit in order to complete my 18th Edition Electrical Regulations course.
