There was a good balance of working with people outside your team and also working as a team. There were challenges (which there should be). I believe the proof of the success, as with any training, is being able to make changes and implement learnings into our everyday working lives. Fingers crossed!

The trainer should make a greater effort to include all members of the team. On occasion the conversation was driven by a small number of members.

The course overall was excellent and the trainer was very engaging. It was very interesting to be able to assess yourself and stand back and assess a situation. I feel I have been better equipped to handle difficult situations where I need to say no and be firm.Response : Thanks for such a positive evaluation, Lizz. great delivery maintaining interest across the day one suggestion for improvement - when reviewing the 4 communication styles aggressive, submissive, P/A, assertive - there was a very detailed slide which was very useful but we just talked through the content - demonstrations could be more engaging.Response : Thank you for the feedback, Gareth, and I will make sure Vidette is made aware of your comments on that particular element.

We were told the course would start at 9 but on arrival at the venue we were told it started at 10. Also, we finished at lunchtime on the second day so it wasn't really a 2 day course.Response : Hi Elissa - apologies regarding the start time, that was an administrative glitch at our end. I am sorry you felt the course was cut a little short - it should have been explained that with three people attending, the likelihood is all course material would have been easily covered within that timeframe. The content was very good, but as mentioned eralier the exercises neeeded more role play to drive home the key message of the course.
