Brian was very knowledgeable and pushed us to really think about the work we are involved in. What you need a good trainer to do! Will definitely be able to apply the learning back in the workplace.

the room was not ready for us to start training which was an unnecessary delay of waiting in reception.Response : Hi Caroline - I am sorry about the inconvenience caused with regards the room, I did hear about it at the time and we appreciate it impacted on how your day started. Steps have been taken to update our procedures to help prevent this happening in the future

The room was very small and too warm by the afternoon. The chairs were also very slippery! I know there were staff changes so hiccups are to be expected but it would have been smoother if we had been told to bring a prepared presentation as the trainer expected. Joining instructions were not sent to me personally.Response : Thanks for the feedback, Anu, and we have taken on board your point about being advised in advance about prepartion requirements for the course. As you mentioned, this was a procedural error on our part and it has been attended to. We hope this didn't impact on the overall experience and that you have a toolkit of resources to help you deliver training to your colleagues.

Although I appreciate that the invoices get automatically generated on a certain date this makes it hard to claim back expenses which are sitting on my credit card. Communication more in advance that it was just the 2 of us would have been better.Response : Hi Sarah - thanks for the feedback and I completely understand your position about invoicing, however we generate a lot of enquiries for these open courses and then spend much of our time trying to get people on the phone/email to confirm whether they will attend. Often we get told at the last breath whether someone is or isn't attending. We do try to take a call on these courses two weeks out, but it isn't always possible. However, it is one of the procedures we are looking to tighten up on. Hope we see you on a Cosensa course again in the future :)

I think this is a good starter course for people who have had little negotiating experience and are looking to increase confidence. I think maybe I should have done the next one up and spent more than one day as there is only so much you can do in a short time. If we had not have managed to get more delegates than the original 2 then I think it would have been much less effective. I think the course should not be run with less that 4 delegates. It is the experience of others and the opportunity to negotiate with a variety of people which makes it most effective.Response : Thanks for that feedback, Katherine, and yes, we take on board your point about the numbers involved. The trainer passed back a similar comment. If you would like to consider a more advanced course, we do offer a two day Advanced Influencing Skills course.
