Very smooth day which really brought home the importance of falls awareness and the falls ambassador programme. I really enjoyed hearing the experiences of the care home resident which illustrated how important the work done by care staff is.
I have done this ambassador course before. I did find last years more helpful. I’m not really sure what I have to take away from today. Last time it went into more depth and logistics on falls prevention like footwear and leaflets on footwear. Medical conditions. Nothing on tech devices that could be used
