Engaging delivery: The trainers explained techniques clearly and demonstrated them in a practical, supportive way. Relevance: The content was directly linked to real-life scenarios we might face in practice, making it easier to apply. Confidence building: Practising holds, breakaway techniques, and de-escalation strategies increased my confidence in managing challenging behaviour safely. Balance: The training didn’t just focus on physical intervention but also emphasised communication, de-escalation, and respect for dignity. Teamwork: Practising in groups helped build trust and showed the importance of working together in high-risk situations
