It was a nice experience but tiring because of the lengthy time. The trainer was Karen Harvey.
Overall, the training has improved my understanding of autism and learning disabilities and how to provide safe, compassionate, and person-centred care. I have learned the importance of effective communication, treating everyone with dignity and respect, promoting independence, and understanding each person’s individual needs. I will apply this knowledge in my daily practice to provide inclusive care and ensure that every individual feels valued, understood, and supported.
Seats was very uncomfortable, room was cold in the morning but John was amazing !
I enjoyed the training and feel confident to apply this in my work role
