The course content would have been useful; however, the instructor's attitude and rudeness made it difficult for me to concentrate. He showed no respect for participants, addressing us as if we were children and calling out 'hey you' instead of learning our names. The interaction was unpleasant and he was the worst trainer I have ever encountered. I have taken this training many times, but I have never been spoken to in such a disrespectful manner. Course material where not given.
The lack of parking and then the cost to park nearby is insane! It sounds like most people here are out of area, we do not need to be in a fancy hotel that is ultimately inconvenient. The information read out and the information on the slides did not interact at all. It’s okay to avoid death by PowerPoint but we didn’t recap 90% of the slides. The answers to the discussion questions were not relayed on the following slides. Lack of flush and ppe lost sight of simulation environment & one person assessing 4 people meant a lot of people had poor practise in simulation and were signed off regardless. Not bad, just not amazing.
Needs more attention in BLS too many people for this one trainer to manage
There was too much audience interaction. The draw a circle on top of a square activity was good. I feel like the slides section was stretched more then could have been. Practice was good.
Too much content for a one day course. The venue was warm, clean and welcoming but coffee was only available during the morning and there was no mention of there not being proper food available, I brought up this issue several years ago, this really should be mentioned in the email confirmation of the course placement, I was prepared but many other participants weren't. The trainer lady mentioned that we needed to order food from Holiday Inn before 11am, but she didn't mention this until about midday.
