Too much irrelevant information on one slide. The colour on the course materials are so difficult to read so as the assessment questions too
Took too long long winded could of been condensed into 3 hours alot of waffling
Training too long and too much talking you have a headache by the end of the day
No signage at site-just told to sit and wait, other courses going on. At least one candidate sat in another lecture for about 2 hours before realising! Registration supposed to start at 09:30, instructor arrived about 09:58. No meet and greet-fire exits, toilets etc until first break. BLS was unstructured and rushed with most candidates leaving without a clue on what to do in an emergency. Instructor seems a nice guy but course felt very rushed and lot of bits I think should have been covered more. Only reason I chose the course was location, will most likely look elsewhere for next year.
Loved having trainers with lived experience, and Kennedy was great too. 5 stars for the people. The content was 2 hours and could have been done online in a morning. I'd recommend more accuracy, such as alexythemia v echolalia, or more in depth work that does last a day. Course outline great, would love to have known more about the experience of the trainers.
The fire training was 10mins and the manual handing was 30mins I traveled up for that… according to the trainer he couldn’t do manual handing which was detrimental to my work… he did it in the end after explaining how important it was I completed today However last year was much better. Hardly learnt anything about fire training Did enjoy the BLS however
I feel this course lacks proper education. We are all left to our own devises to use manual handling tools but it's all guess work and not actually demonstrated how to use them.
