The course was meant to be bespoke to our organisation but was more suited to a healthcare setting with many parts not relevant to our business. The brief provided to yourselves was that we work with people aged 14+ yet this was solely adult-based. The only reference to anything to do with children was Working Together being stated on the legislation slide and that this legislation was last updated in Dec 2020, it was last updated in March 2026. Wile the trainer was made aware that we work with children, she failed to mention that the MCA and Domestic Abuse Acts both relate to people aged 16+. The Prevent video was highly biased with its content solely featuring extremism in terms of Daesh with no other examples of far-right extremism. Whilst information was provided to you about our company the trainer knew nothing of this and was also unaware of the additional content that had been added at our request. Those additional slides also appeared hastily added and were very much rushed and skipped over by the trainer. Little space was given to discussion and was replaced with on-the-spot questioning. There was also no consideration to reasonable adjustments and preferences as it was explicitly stated that cameras should be kept on for the duration.
