Stephen is very engaging and explains technical content extremely thoroughly. He is approachable for questions and explains areas of uncertainty well. Plenty of materials recommended to practice on which is helpful for self-study and consolidation of learning. Personally, I would have liked a little more attention to accounting fundamentals as new area of learning for me but understand this is not a priority considering majority of other's experience includes this. Course can feel quite rushed at times, completing half/missing out areas of certain topics.
Great instructor. Very engaging with good explanations as to why we do certain things.
The course and instructor were great! The training was a good refresher of core financial concepts and was gave good perspectives and applications into the M&A industry. For the future, it would be great to, perhaps, have one extra week of training to go deeper into modelling and get a grasp of all the nuances and hidden tricks.
I think the instructor was great and made the classes quite entertained, making them very interactive and helping us to learn the course materials and contents. An improvement could be to step deeper in a bigger model, but aware that there are people that it's the first touch with M&A
Stephen is very engaging and teaches the material in a very clear and digestible manner. Stephen has encouraged us to work together and clarify anything we are unsure about. Overall, the course has been very helpful and the supplementary materials and quizzes have been especially important for furthering my understanding.
In general, the course was really good and is always good to refresh some financial concepts and learn new things that I though I knew. Steven's classes are really interactive and interesting so that helps a lot. I will add an extra week for real modelling cases and get deeper into DCF, LBO and merger models.
