Whilst I’d rate the overall course as good. I don’t feel some of the sections were relevant to me. As for the areas that are meant to be relevant (Energy and infrastructure), from a modeling perspective, I don’t think justice was done

This is a great course, with great content and a great instructor but the class needs to be broken into 2 days with shorter sessions. I think if the sessions were broken out, I would have picked up a lot more.

Course was well structured and organized. Enjoyed the prep materials and also the instructor. Very professional and extremely good knowledge of the materials. Only „negative part“ is the split between the difficulty levels. In my opinion, we shouldn’t have used as much time for short cuts in the beginning and focused more on complexer topics such as leasing.

It was very useful but definitely not meant for someone who has not had any prior experience in investment banking or what investment banking even uses. It also requires previous accounting knowledge when it was pitched to me as a pure beginners course. I wish I had known this prior to spending over $3,000 because this course was way too ahead of my time.

Need more spread out sessions (e.g. every week, or every 2 weeks). Doing 3 courses and then another 2 after 2 months doesn't help. Also, not everything shouldn't be crammed in 6 hours, and there should be homework.

an instructor was good as he regularly check participants progress; although contents were too easy for who has background in investment management/investment banking/corporate finance, it was good to reflact the basics.

Brilliant teacher but could have been structured differently.. Would have appreciated more theoretical knowledge than excel model walk-through

Daniel and Angela did a great job. I think this course was a good refresher. That being said unsure if it is worth the cost for most private equity professionals as building a 3 statement model is a prerequisite to passing an interview. Excel refresher was helpful. A more in depth focused beyond a boiler plate 3 statement model would be more helpful. Would recommend cutting out a lot of the refresher stuff or giving it ahead for review then going over the following: Multiple add on acquisitions to a platform prior to exit monthly / quarterly stub models to show acquisitions closing at different times earn out accounting acquisition closing funds flows returns waterfalls at a fund level for an exit Different ways to estimate true cash flow with unreliable private market financial reporting modular models for asset vs. stock purchases Potentially include more on: debt covenants and debt process negotiations nuances of purchase agreement Additionally, having the venue close at 5pm limited some of the instruction and collaboration. Maybe find a room for after hour studying. Thanks for the course. Enjoyed my time here. Best, Joe josephbns@gmail.com

Great teacher, but I personally found the content super simple. I know everyone has to sit through sections about their own products, but I thought some portions could have been taught faster.
