I really enjoyed the SENCO course overall. Gaining this knowledge has been invaluable, and I now feel more confident and prepared to use it in real-life situations. I understand how important it is to be a trusted adult for vulnerable children, especially those who may not have a voice or know how to speak up for themselves. With the tools and understanding I’ve gained, I feel more empowered to recognise when something is not right, respond appropriately and take the right steps to ensure every child is safe, supported and heard. I will be the SENCO of my setting which means i will be doing everything I can to protect and support these children
