Helen was vulnerable with us and in turn it allowed us to learn a lot from her. The topic is heavy but there was definitely a sense of feeling safe and heard. I truly believe the knowledge she has and how she delivered the session helped me understand how to manage conversations with vulnerable and suicidal customers more effectively.

The course was good, the trainer was knowledgeable and engaged with the room with answering questions when asked. The course was lengthy but didn't feel long which was nice. I feel the course could of done some more practical and or role play to see the information that was provided put into action.

As a psychiatric nurse and mental health first aid instructor i am very familiar with the content of this session, however it was great to see that the training offered was much aligned to that of the MHFA, NHS and other relevant charitable organisations. Helen was a great trainer, manged the pace of the session well and was very engaging. I found it to be a useful refresher.

The material doesn’t really relate to my job role too much as my customer conversations are usually too short to build a rapport. I’ve had similar training in the past in my counselling courses, it’s a good refresher for these skills in life. Thank you
