Really enjoyed the course and feel a lot better prepared to support others with their own mental health. Also understand the importance of looking after myself whilst undertaking the mental health first aider role. Stephen was a great instructor, he was open and honest and encouraged frank conversation. He made space for people to contribute their own experiences and it felt like a supportive, non judgemental environment.

Excellent course, well presented by an experienced and knowledgeable instructor. My only comment would be to source the multimedia videos and resources from UK. It all had an Australian bias. That didn't detract from the overall course.

I recently completed the Adult Mental Health First Aid Wales course with Tristan, and I would like to leave very positive feedback. Tristan is an excellent trainer — calm, supportive, and incredibly patient. He always gave us the space to learn, never rushed anyone, and handled our mistakes with understanding. His explanations were clear, practical, and easy to follow, and he created a safe and comfortable environment for discussions. I’m very grateful for his teaching style and would highly recommend him as an instructor.
