Helen is an excellent instructor. She was professional and courteous at all times. Spoke clearly and emphasised the importance of understanding the content and labelling of illnesses . She listened to people who had concerns and addressed them in an appropriate manner. I came away from the course a slightly different person. Giving me knowledge of what people are enduring with their battles of living with poor mental health.

Very casual and comfortable environment with no fear of judgement, open questions sometimes met with silence but other options for answering questions seem impersonal, the breakout rooms were very good providing a smaller space for discussions

Cathy was a fantastic course instructor and had the perfect mix of personable skills and knowledge to guide us through some difficult but important content at times.

The course was interesting and informative with it being just the right length of time. The tutor was amazing and had such a calming voice that I did not feel awkward answering questions or getting it incorrect. Well done and thank you

I feel that the course would need to be run for a full 8hr day rather than 4 hrs this gives the opportunity for the team to interact more, as I feel this is an important part of the course and it also give the teacher more time to discuss the topics with us. Really enjoyed the course it just needed more time :-)

Great course, but 4 hours is not long enough.

The session helped to refresh and update myself on the mental health first aid. The course was interactive and gave insight on different ways to deal with the situations & supports to provide. The allocated time for the course was not sufficient to cover the contents in detail. I think it will be better to have a whole day session so that we will have more opportunity for discussions and skill practices.

A really useful course that highlighted lots of information - most of it completely new to me but it also helped to identify areas that I may have experience or knowledge of without realising. Excellent resources that will be a great reference point Thank you
