great course with Layla. i had a few episodes of anxiety last year as i live on alone and was in lockdown alone, this course highlighted that i was depressed slightly. I am now fine hence why i asked by TL to attend. she advised it would be good as i was always aware and very vocal of my feelings, emotions etc. i have learnt a great deal in order to help anyone, but also identify if i ever hit that spot again. One thing on the course material, the quiz's, even if you got one wrong it would come back as "incorrect" and then give u the correct answers. it would be good if the correct ones would stay there and you were given option to correct them

The course content was well presented and structured. The breakout sessions and case studies were useful and allowed each member of the group to discuss their thoughts and opinions. The link between the online learning materials, handbook and webinar with the page references was really useful to focus learning. The repetition of the Mental Health First Aid Action Plan throughout each module really helped to remember the different stages.

Thank you both for a great course and valuable training. I thoroughly enjoyed my week and this has more than met my expectations.

I really enjoyed the course, I felt as if I took alot from it and feel a lot more confident doing this new role. I feel this will help me as a person aswell as in my day to day life. I also felt very comfortable with my tutor Stephanie I thought she done a great job.

Brilliant course, well run with great instructor's. A fantastic course that have given myself and others the skills to teach others in MHFA

It would have enhanced our learning to be in a room together but our trainer Layla Fear brought everything together and we could discuss things when needed. I would have preferred the paper copy of the manual from the start as I am a visual learner. I have already addressed issues in young people that I work with that I would have avoided before as I felt I was not qualified, "only" being a TA. Many thanks for giving us the confidence to approach difficult issues.
