The course was well organised and lots of material to back up the discussions. We were all able to talk freely and give our comments that were accepted and respected by the rest of the group. I feel that we all need to be so aware of all mental health issues and lets all talk about them freely.

Excellent training that I feel confident putting into practice. Both Melanie and Chris were knowledgeable and provided examples of real-life experiences which helped me understand how to use the ALGEE steps. I would highly recommend.

It was a great course to attend, I learnt a lot of new things to do with a variety of mental illnesses, how to approach someone who is having a difficult time with their mental health, and how to assist and provide support to those individuals as well

Thoroughly enjoyed this course. Gained lots of extremely useful information, which will be of definite help with my role as course tutor moving forward. Chris and Mel were enthusiastic and engaging throughout and we had really good interaction as a group. Very enjoyable and extremely beneficial.

I found the course to be very informative, the instructors were easy to talk to, open and honest. They made you feel comfortable around each topic and delivered their sessions well. I feel that I will be able to give better quality of support to students when term starts. The offer of a debrief, I think is a good idea and shows support for us as practitioners. I would welcome further courses on this matter.
