Excellent course and the tutor was excellent. Brought a wealth of experience to the subject and delivered what can be a very difficult subject to discuss with lighter moments which made things easier.

This course was excellent. I found the online learning quite heavy to go through. Excellent information and really good to do before the discussions in groups. Gives you a little more confidence to speak in the groups without any judgement when you are not experienced in mental health. I have been supporting friends, colleagues with mental health problems without any training and have been fearful that My support has no validation as I have not had any experience or training on mental health issues. I do feel more confident know I have completed the course, however I am aware that I may be unable to help in certain situations. This course has given me the permission to myself to say.... I am really feeling overwhelmed with situation today helping this colleague . I can have a day off supporting someone and think about myself for a change instead of making myself so available incase I am needed.

The workshop was very informative and will now give me the confidence to ask those difficult questions in the workplace to people who may be suffering from a mental health crisis or illness. The trainer was of a good and standard and was informed on the subject and very personable, a particular skill that I picked up on was she allowed everyone to speak and talk through a subject and let everyone reason with tough subject matters in plenty of time.

Very well presented course, lots of useful information that I feel confident to put into practice if ever needed. The contents was very relatable and the discussion of personal experiences was really interesting and made the course more down to earth rather than just learning from books and slides. Well done both Rebecca and Lynne.

Rebecca and Lynn ran the course extremely positive with lot of experience and knowledge of great understanding and attitudes within the running of the lessons, with the learner understanding what was being said step by step throughout the course, a pleasure learning from both with many thanks, sharon Davies

The modules to be completed prior to the webinar were very easy to navigate and the content was very interesting. I learned a lot and feel that I will be able to put what I have learned into practice. Rachele made me feel at ease during the webinars and I have never felt comfortable participating in discussions.

Really enjoyed the course, it made me much more aware of the signs to look out for to understand if someone is struggling, and how best to approach them and offer help. I am now much more aware of the sort of terminology to use when assisting, and of all the various support and help out there for people.
