The course was not what I expected. I would recommend that this course should be compulsory because there is a lot of benefits from this course and gives you a great understanding about mental health problems. 10/10 from the instructor Jacqui as well.

Thank you very much to Sam and Wendy - I found the training very helpful and it also drew attention to misconceptions regarding mental health.

A very nice refresher course for me having worked in mental health for many years, but been away from it for a while. There were also quite a few point that were new to me. My only issue is that there were quite a few typos in the teaching material and some of the sentences could be revised to make them easier to make sense of. This sometimes disrupted the sense of the material and at times made concentrating on the content difficult.

Would have liked more videos of scenarios. Would have liked a bit more time to do the modules as found it hard to fit them in with work/ home life. Thanks

Bethan was fantastic, so knowledgeable and encouraging during our learning. There was a lot of information to go through but Bethan kept us on track and kept it all interesting, while always checking on our wellbeing. I am feeling so much more confident now, I have the toolkit to better support people around me that may need support or urgent help.

I previously worked in mental health, so have had some first hand experience. As this was over almost 5 years ago, the course was a great refresher. Stephen was a great teacher and very engaging!

Excellent pre-course work, very well delivered by Steve who created an informative and safe learning environment for a very tricky subject. Learn a lot - thank you so much

The content given was insightful and well communicated. The group I was with were engaged and encouraged open conversation. The live sessions built constructively on the e-module content and I like having the MHFA handbook as something I can use to refer back to if I have any questions. Our instructor helped communicate the flexible structure of ALGEE, how to be non-judgemental and also to keep your own safety and wellbeing in mind.
