The practice paper was only 15 questions long the actual test is 50 questions long. Obviously I'd have picked up on potential questions I'd have gotten wrong on my practice paper and not in the main exam.

First week could have been better, there were too many students, and trying to teach Siemens and AB at the same time meant most instructions were not relevant to half the class all the time. Perhaps a day focused on AB and a day focused on Siemens, with all class on matching architecture for that period would work better. Then the next 3 days students choose which system to continue with.

I think the course met my expectations. I appreciate that we was able to get the practical exam done whilst we were in centre and didn’t have to come back at a later date. The theory felt a bit rushed at times and the tutor didn’t make sure that we were on the same page as himself when he was delivering the materials. I think if we were informed that we need a good understanding of how to us GN3 before we attended the centre it would have been easier to keep up with the speed of the delivery.

Overall course and teacher was very good. Just wish there was a location closer to home. Course was slightly too long because everyone finished the project work early. Luckily our teacher decided to teach some things not on the curriculum. Very satisfied

Wendy is an exceptional Tutor who engages very successfully with her students and understands their individual needs in terms of knowledge. Her enthusiasm is infectious, i Have attended both the 18th Edition and 2391 courses with Wendy achieving marks in excess of 90%, due no doubt to Wendy

Overall I found the course very challenging. The ladder logic was difficult for the first week, but I started to grasp it later in the second week. The instructor was very knowledgeable, so far as finding it difficult that has to be down to my aptitude level. The facilities are very good with lunch thrown in as an added bonus. Thank you.

The course was beneficial and I found it informative. Dawn was really good at teaching the subject and dumbing difficult information down so you understood the fundamentals before then explaining in book terminology. Some of the equipment we were working on was damaged and faulty eg we would wire our panels and test our boards but there would always be a faulty contactor, motor board, relay etc. However, the tools and toolboxes provided were very good. The dinners were a lot better than expected. I found the environment very laid back and there was no pressure on you to rush your boards etc which was good. I do feel that the course could’ve been completed in half the time, but overall I was very happy with the course and will recommend to my colleagues.

A good course with very supportive tutor, gave real life example's and also broke the course down in what can be a very heavy subject!
