The course provided hands-on experience in configuring and validating protection settings on ABB, Schneider, SEL, and Siemens relays. Exercises covered key transformer and feeder protection functions. The practical approach to navigating different relay platforms and implementing equivalent protection philosophies across multiple manufacturers was particularly valuable. This significantly improved my understanding of how protection principles are translated into vendor-specific settings and logic.
