Kirsty showed us very practical skills which even I would be confident in using. It demonstrates that restraint is not needed and break away skills can get you out of most situations. She went through things several times to make sure we understood. Used very good real life examples and how we may be required to put these into practice

Very well delivered, good understanding and knowledge.

Good refresher of Level one provided without it being repetitive. Lots of information shared but in a timely manner and plenty of opportunities to practice varying breakaway skills to ensure we all felt confident and competent. Time given if people were less confident in certain manoeuvres without people being made to feel embarrassed.

It was factual, well delivered and it was good fun meaning I stayed engaged

Shared breakaway skills confidently, which enabled nurses to fully understand and be confident in these techniques after the course.
